Thuringia and its companies have a lot to offer. It is therefore only logical for the state to present itself at international sector-specific hotspots. For this reason, during the height of the trade fair season, it made joint, widely visible appearances at the IAA in Frankfurt, Expo Real in Munich, Fakuma in Friedrichshafen, and the Frankfurt Book Fair. At Expo Real, the state of Thuringia presented itself above all as a highly modern and centrally located logistics location: Within the context of a discussion and networking forum, Thuringian Minister President Bodo Ramelow discussed with experts the opportunities associated with the ICE hub (high speed train hub) in Erfurt. Not only will investors settling in the ICE-City in the immediate vicinity of Erfurt’s main train station benefit from the even better logistic conditions, but the overall attractiveness of Thuringia as a business location will surely be strengthened.
